He thinks from different point of view that can make people change their perception. A stranger in the city who is everybody calls as PK has many questions about the existence of God. People always say he needs to pray to God if he wants to get his remote control back. But one thing that makes him confused is which God that he supposes to believe? He has been through many rituals in order to can talk with God. He tries to be a Hindustan, Buddhist, Christian, until Moslem. He still gets no responds and finally gives up.

Jaggu decides to help PK finds his remote control. At first she does not believe what PK says about the secret of him but after seeing the proof, she has no choice except believe something that she thinks so absurd. He later finds out that Tapasvi Maharaj, a Godman (Saurabh Shukla), has his remote control. However, Tapasvi falsely claims to have attained the object from God in the Himalayas and refuses to return it to PK. Bewildered, PK concludes that Tapasvi and other religious heads must be calling a “wrong number” to God and, as a result, spreading misunderstandings and meaningless riuals.

Jaggu encourages thousands of people to send of their own experiences with religious heads, calling them “wrong number”. It has good response from people by seeing the amount of videos that they get. Then, Tapaswi is forced to come into studio and confront PK on-air. Tapaswi keeps claiming himself that he has a direct connection to God. The prediction about Safaraz will betray jaggu is one of the proofs that he really is a Godman. PK asked Jaggu to confirm it by contacting Pakistan Emmbassy in Belgium where Safaraz worked part-time. The result says Safaraz are still looking for Jaggu, and he also still loves Jaggu until now. Tapaswi knocks down, he cannot say anything. Meanwhile, PK gets his remote control well and finally he can go home.

PK who has fallen for Jaggu learns many things while he is living in Earth. He learns how to lie to someone. Yes, you’re right! He records tapes of Jaggu’s voice so that he can listen to Jaggu’s voice on his home planet whenever he misses her. But, he lies to Jaggu regarding the content of the tapes. He says he records the sound of cars, birds, and many things on earth, he also lies about his feeling towards Jaggu. Actually, Jaggu knows the truth but she keeps quiet. After PK leaves Earth, Jaggu publishes a book which tells about PK.
