Parisian wallpaper and fabrique maker, Pierre Frey and American street artist, Toxic, have made collaboration for making vibrant colours, abstract and graffiti motifs wallpaper. Two patterns have been created and both have different background stories in it. The first pattern entitled “No Toys are Allowed” probably indicates about Toxic’s career is no longer a game, as it may have been in his formative years. Meanwhile, the second pattern called “Eighty/Thirty” shares the coverage of both wallpaper makers’ stories. “Eighty” represents the 80th anniversary of the Pierre Frey brand, established in 1935, and “Thirty” explains the 30th year of Toxic’s career as an artist. These artistic collections along with a Parisian museum exhibit including four Toxic’s paintings will launch at Pinacothèque in September 13.
